Description:

The customer is a leading multinational provider of the telecommunication technologies and services.

The product is a network configuration and inventory management system designed for the telecommunications industry. This is a platform for planning, designing, rearranging and documenting the inventory of complex communication services and networks. It provides a comprehensive view of your services, resources, and networks and the relationships among them. The system enables the communication carriers to manage their network inventory, track current assets, develop complex configurations, and schedule future resources for wireless, wireline, voice-based or databased services.

Requirements:

Must have:

• Development experience 2+ years (Java enterprise applications)
• Strong Core Java
• Good OOP/OOD
• J2EE experience: EJB, JMS, JAX-WS, JAX-RS
• Other technologies: Spring, Hibernate, XML, Javascript
• Experience with J2EE application servers (Weblogic, JBoss are preferable)
• RDBMS background (Oracle is preferable)
• Linux experience: basic/regular user
• Intermediate+ English level

 

Nice to have:

• GWT/SmartGWT experience is the plus
• Telecom/OSS/BSS background is the plus
• Scrum/Agile expirience

Preferences:

Docker, Microservices, GWT, JavaScript, Linux Kernel, Velocity, Telecom-OSS/BSS

Job Responsibilities:

• New features design and implementation
• Technical investigation and devising POCs and solutions for further implementation
• Defect investigation, bug fixing, troubleshooting
• Unit and functional testing
• Following design and coding standards accepted in the team
• Work with platforms such as JEE under Linux/Unix OS
• Work with Software Quality Assurance(SQA) in order to validate correctness of the implementation
• Interact with project management, other engineering teams, and other stakeholders as appropriate
