Senior Java Developer

We are looking for talented individuals with the experience and motivation to join our innovative, fast-paced Precisely Team. We are seeking a senior backend java developer for our Analyze product. The role involves development, design, and maintenance of a component for acquiring database metadata and profiling data from multiple different databases.

Requirements:

• 5+ years relevant professional experience
• You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience
• You have expert experience with Java and JDBC
• You have experience with multiple different types of databases: RDBMs, Columnar Stores, etc.
• You have an understanding of data profiling.
• You have a solid understanding of databases and data processing concepts.
• You have strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Job Responsibilities:

• You will Design, develop, and maintain existing application components which acquire database metadata and profiling data from multiple data sources.
• You will Work in an agile team environment to deliver incremental enhancements to the product.
• You will Develop automated unit and integration tests to components.
• You will Assist support and services teams in diagnosing product issues encountered by the customers.
• Other duties may be assigned.
