Senior C# Developer

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will already be able to demonstrate the following

• Experience of at least 5-6 years in a commercial development environment
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET, knowledge of Scala or Java is a big plus
• Design skills using DDD, OO and Design Patterns
• A good understanding of third-party integration technologies, including Rest APIs
• Good knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL database technologies such as MSSQL and or DynamoDB
• Good analytical mind with problem solving skills, on your own or brainstorming with colleagues
• An advanced debugging and troubleshooting skills, with abilities to propose creative solutions
• Strong communication skills, both spoken and written with Upper-Intermediate English level

Preferences:

• GOlang Programming language, GitLab CI, SQL, Containers

• Take a lead in contributing to core company product innovation and evolution
• Be responsible for leading definition of work and collaborating with product owners to break down high level requirements into understandable pieces of work that your team can create solutions for
• Drive troubleshooting and brainstorming sessions, suggesting solutions and generating creative ideas
• Architect solutions with the team and advise to ensure the correct design choices are made, propose how to move the platform to the next-generation solution
• Builds APIs for partners to interact with the platform, driving correct technology usage
• Refactor, optimize and fix defects in existing code base, identifying best ways to refactor opportunistically as well as a longer-term plan. Review team members code, drive best practices across the team
• Review process and identify potential improvements, discussing them with team leads and management. Research new technologies and approaches to improve existing products, providing input into the technology roadmap
