Our Client is a major provider of software and framework solutions for clinical trials for Pharma Companies. Many years of experience on the market and proprietary techniques and approaches allow building cutting-edge solutions, which mitigate the trial risks and increase the potential and the success of the study results. The platform works with all kinds of legacy and electronic forms of data (eSource), provides tools to control the clinical outcome assessments (eCOA)
Project
Tier-3 (T3) is the highest technical level of support. The team is responsible for handling the most difficult and advanced problems which were not resolved by a lower support level lines. It includes research and development of solutions to new or unknown issues. The team reports directly to Support Director from the customer side. On a daily basis, we provide the following services
- Troubleshooting production incidents
- Developing efficient solutions for resolving production issues
- Maintaining database integrity
- Correcting user input errors
- Adjusting and maintaining reports and system alerts
- Facilitating forms submission issues
- Improving CI/CD practices
- Developing helper tools for automating and facilitating support activities (manual work automation)
Currently, the team covers several different application families, and in perspective, this list might be extended
Requirements:
This position requires to be a Leader of team, which is responsible to maintain and keep in working state a set of complex web and desktop applications, built over .Net Framework technology stack (starting from .Net 3.5, ending latest DotNet Core releases), with SQL Server 2+ on a database end, ADO.Net and Telerik Data Access as a data access technologies.
Mentioned set of applications are integrated between each other and third party services and SaaS products via WCF and other communication protocols and approaches, which involves the team in supporting of whole system integrity, quickly detecting and addressing the impact of program failures. Keeping of data consistency between mentioned applications, development of new support tools and services designed to ensure the whole system stability, propose new approaches and workarounds, participate in bug fixing activities, review of applications source code to indicate the existence of shortcomings and potential weaknesses.

Job Responsibilities:
- Own, monitor and improve services in production;
- Analyze and resolve issues in the application;
- Validate existing architecture and code, analyze and uncover possible architectural pitfalls;
- Locate difficult-reproducible bugs using the source code of components and using network traffic analysis, memory profiling tools ;
- Provide workarounds to problems encountered with production;
- Creating safe TSQL scripts to address changes of production data;
- Improving CI/CD process;
- Interact, communicate with stakeholders (directly with a client);
- Mentor and help other developers, code reviews;
