The Opportunity

We are revolutionizing sound delivery and are building a lean, design-focused product development team to help execute our product vision. We are looking for a talented backend developer to join our team. You will leverage your background in backend development and work with a passionate team to build a sleek solution for the media industry.

Requirements:

Core Skills:

• Professional experience in the field of cloud solutions or commercial web services
• Very good knowledge of software development in Javascript, Typescript, Node.js
• Good knowledge in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud solution system
• Professional experience with REST API design and development
• Experience in developing Serverless Applications
• Good understanding of security aspects relevant to public service in the cloud
• An analytic approach to software design and development
• Willingness to work with different technologies and ability to learn fast

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud automation tools such as CloudFormation
• Experience integration apps with authentication/authorization tools (Okta verify, etc.)
• Experience in developing cross-platform applications
• Experience in mobile application development (e.g., based on ReactNative)
• Experience with the development of a high availability system
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD

Preferences:

• Python, Scrum, DevOps

Job Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a cross-functional scrum team
• Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to bring product ideas to life
• Debug and resolve issues related to the application and interaction with external and internal APIs
• Conduct architecture and design reviews with other software architects and engineers
• Perform code reviews and design reviews with the team
• Be an end-to-end owner of software services spanning technology boundaries
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and project plans
