Senior PHP developer

Our Client is a global technology platform operating at the intersection of culture, community, and commerce. Headquartered in Montreal, it features a mix of established and emerging luxury brands across womenswear, menswear, kidswear, and acessories. We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our support team for warehouse operations. The Developer will work in new business (delopment team) within an agile scrum team.

Requirements:

• PHP (7.1+) with Symphony framework
• English
• MySQL (at least B2)
• AWS SQS/SNS
• Kubernetes
• Java
• Javascript
• Customer works in Eastern timezone, so as much overlap between 9-5 EET is good.

Job Responsibilities:

The PHP dev will be working in a support team for warehouse operations. Clients (internal employees) have issues with the in-house built tools and the candidate will be required to:

• Communicate with these stakeholders
• Be a leader to coordinate a squad of PHP devs and resolve different issues in the team
• Troubleshoot/investigate legacy codebase to identify the root cause
• Implement/fix bugs and test for their changes
• Deploy and monitor their changes
• Document the issue, fixes and any steps required for similar problems
