Technical Product Owner

We are partnered with a market-leading company delivering fleet management solutions. Using the newest cloud and IoT technologies we provide real-time services for customers around the globe. In over 20 projects we are working with a variety of technologies: Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Cloud, Big Data, Frontend, Backend, and others. By detecting in real-time road risks, weather conditions, and other events we increase safety and awareness for the fleet of over 650 thousand vehicles.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner for a new team. The project is for a fleet management solution provider that would like to create a full-scale API Platform for external customers, vendors, and solution providers in the USA. The product we aim to build will be foundations for others delivery teams working in the industry (similarly to stripe API in many products).

Requirements

• Prior experience with API as a Product (or API as SaaS,PaaS) creation preferably REST.
• Industry-related experience 3+ years (software engineering projects), knowledge of software development lifecycle and software development methodologies including 2+ years in Business analysis or 2+ years as a Technical Product Owner
• Strong knowledge in practices and techniques of business analysis,
  requirements gathering (Elicitation – Interview, document analysis) and solutions assessment including gap analysis and root cause analysis
• The mindset with the ability to recognize opportunities to create distinctive business value.
• Ability to produce solid documentation
• Ability to maintain knowledge base on the business needs
• Ability to create clear and concise requirements documentation (English writing, diagrams, UML, BPMN)
• Fluent English (comprehensive written and verbal communication)
• Previous experience as a developer is an attitude

• Business Analyst, JIRA, Technical Documentation

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, end-users, and Subject Matter Experts to gather and document business and functional requirements
• Create/maintain project knowledge base also documentation for external product customers
• Document mid/low-level requirements, update Jira stories (including data flows modeling, UI sketches)
• Perform gap analysis between high level and low-level requirements
• Participate in demo and training preparation
• Draft and maintain use cases or other supporting documentation for enhancements new features
