Job Description
At Vidyo we are working on a variety of video-conferencing solutions for companies, as well as millions of individuals around the world with their secure, scalable technology and cloud-based services. Our team is working on a video-conferencing application with the unified user experience across web and desktop platforms to deliver the consistency, ease-of-use and rich features set. We deal with complex engineering problems like optimization processing media data and providing the best quality of video and audio based on device resources, stable communication quality on an unstable network, and complex non-trivial UI.
We are looking to expand our team. Someone who is personable, goal-oriented, team player. Qualities should include self-discipline, persistence, and resilience.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Solid Javascript and React development experience
- Experience with Redux
- Experience with Typescript
- Experience in design and implementation of complex features
- Upper-Intermediate verbal and writing skills in English
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to have:
- Electron experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Solve and implement difficult technology challenges
- Build product features end-to-end: through conception, exploration, maintenance, and polish
- Assist with technical resolution of issues on mission-critical production and development systems
- Solve high priority customer issues and get fixes deployed with fast turnaround time
