Middle Java Cloud Developer for Automotive project

Due to intensive growth, the GlobalLogic Automotive department is glad to invite you to the Autonomous Driving project. The project aim is to optimize, extend with new features Autonomous Driving solution. Our clients are Tier 1s from Europe, and development is targeted to Autonomous Driving solution what will be deployed in the newest European cars. The project is considered technical excellent and we are paying huge attention to the technical challenge motivation of our team members as well as excellent compensation.

Requirements:

As a Cloud Developer, you have a strong background in designing, developing, testing, deploying, operating, and maintaining cloud-based software solutions and managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Furthermore, you have:

• Experience building and operating large-scale systems in a public cloud;
• Solid understanding of basic systems operations (disk, network, operating systems, etc);
• Experience with public clouds (Azure);
• A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in teams;
• English: Upper-Intermediate level – the ability to discuss technical topics verbally and by email inside the team and with the customer;

Furthermore, you have software development experience in a statically typed language like Java.

Experience with any of this will give you an extra edge:

• Strong networking background
• IoT or connected vehicle solutions
• Building microservices with Spring Boot
• Working on stream processing technologies
• IT Security background

Preferences:

• Kafka Streams, Helm, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, MQTT, RabbitMQ, Apache Avro, Cassandra
