Systems Modeling / Integration Engineer Python, UML

GlobalLogic team is working on the development and verification of a surgical robotics solution. Our client is the global leader in medical technology. It designs, develops, manufactures, installs, services and distributes a wide variety of medical devices. Our product is a robotic-assisted surgical system designed for surgeons to perform telerobotic surgery. We are looking for a Systems Modeling and Integration Engineer to join our globally distributed team to support SW tools integration in Architecture team.

Requirements:

Must have skills:

• UML (at least some experience)
• Python, shell scripting
• Git

Nice to have skills:

• .Net, C#
• Enterprise Architect, SysML, other modeling tools
• REST API, XML, HTML
• DevOps experience
• CMake

Ideally looking for SW developer who is interested in modeling (UML) and work in the Architect team

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for support for the following tasks:

• Model Repository

Evaluate Enterprise Architect (EA) / Lemon Tree / Git tool chain as a possible solution for EA deployment

• Customize EA with extensions
• Tool for Model / database syncs

Extend our in-house tool for xml model database visualization and editing

• Integration of EA with JAMA, Confluence via the XML model database

Establish a living document process for design and implementation specifications

• Document generation from Enterprise Architect, Doxygen, and Simulink

Create document Templates for PDF, HTML targets

• Integration with our repositories, like Confluence, Teams

Tool for source Code Organization & Metrics

• Analyze current state, list of names, files and dependencies between source code files (e.g. parse includes)
• Checker for conformance to best practice, broken links, name clashes
• Extract and Visualize artifact dependencies and link to Architecture items
• Extract and Visualize Library API usage
