The CableOS department is about developing the new software-based network equipment which provides access to Internet/IPTV/VoIP services using powerful servers. It is an innovative solution for Internet Service Providers which will allow to get rid of the existing HW equipment and to migrate to the cloud, saving customers the enormous expenses for the support of huge number of hardware network equipment. Currently, there are no competitors to this project in the world and the Customer offers the opportunity to be at the beginning of the rapid development of the product and the opportunity to take their place in a fast-paced engineering team.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science/SW Engineering or equivalent;
• 3+ years of industry experience building WEB applications and backend services;
• Experience with Python;
• Experience with Django web framework;
• Experience with RESTful web services, JSON;
• Solid knowledge of MySQL, Elasticsearch databases;
• Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux OS;
• Intermediate and above English (read/write/speak) for communication with the remote teams and subject matter experts;
• Good communication skills.

Preferences:

• PyTest experience;
• Frontend Knowledge such as JS/HTML or frameworks like Angular;
• Experience with tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins;
• Experience developing on Linux systems;
• Experience with networking and relevant test equipment;
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.

Job Responsibilities:

As a member of the test automation team, you will be developing business process automation solutions for RnD organization, including design, implementation & integration, maintenance/improvements of the solution based on feedback from users.

You will work on:

• WEB-based complex system for managing HW equipment pool;
• Adaptation of CI/CD pipelines to automation environment;
• Automated reports of product test results and automation coverage;
• Other general automation needs.
