Our customer is currently deploying large scale Internet of Things („IoT”) digital identity ecosystems and has become a pioneer of the 4th Industrial Revolution movement launched this year at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Our customer’s Swiss based Cryptographic Root of Trust (RoT) integrates wearable technology with secure authentication and identification, in both physical and virtual environments, and empowers IoT and wearable devices to become secure transactional devices.
We are looking for a proactive junior Java engineer who does not afraid to work with secure microcontrollers. Our customer is a known player in the hardware cryptography market. The team’s responsibility would be to validate secure microcontrollers and to develop hardware provisioning tools.

Requirements:

  • Bc. S. or higher in Computer Sciences or related area
  • Theoretical knowledge in Java programming language; Python and C will be plus
  • Understanding of OOP concepts
  • Understanding of encryption algorithms will be a huge plus
  • Intermediate or better English level
  • Understanding of RFID / NFC / Smartcards technologies is a big advantage
  • Theoretical knowledge of multithreading and synchronization; practical knowledge is a big advantage
  • Debugging skills

Preferences:

  • Python, Cryptography, Embedded, C

Job Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintaining of secure microcontroller personalization tools and secure microcontroller validation suites.
  • Development and executing of validation campaigns on different targets (hardware emulators / real HW)
  • Software design of new tools and validation campaigns
  • Evaluation and validation of new microprocessors and documentation
  • Writing of documentation
