Middle Software Engineer Full Stack – JS/Java

We are looking for talented hands-on engineering in building integrated care management solutions that benefit our physicians by building remote patient management workflows using AWS. We are working on medical healthcare web solutions for a world-leading connected health company with more than 5 million cloud-connected devices for daily remote patient monitoring. Award-winning devices and cloud software solutions that help treat and manage sleep apnea, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and other respiratory conditions.

Requirements:

Must have:

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience developing commercial solutions in Java and Angular as a software engineer.
• Java 8+, Spring, Hibernate
• Angular/TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with SQL databases (preferable MS SQL)
• Linux, bash experience.
• Work experience with distributed systems with a focus on Microservice Architecture style
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Work experience with unit testing
• A passion for software craftsmanship, technically sound design, clean code, and continuous improvement, a solid understanding of engineering practices.
• Ability to work with infrastructure, learn and use Terraform.
• Possess strong analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working within an Agile software development process, and Scrum framework.
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may be considered.
• Ability to manage tasks and with given priorities.
• Personal communication skills, and be able to interact – with people of different levels and cultures located in different timezones.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the healthcare domain.
• Knowledge of AWS and Terraform
• Experience in software delivery through CI/CD pipelines like CodeBuild, CodePipeline, Bamboo, Concourse.
• Experience with JSP

Job Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer (full stack developer), you will be responsible for building and maintaining various parts of our platform, both back-end and front-end parts. You’ll be working with the rest of the development team to specify, design, and build the complete user experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Product – You will be involved in building features and enhancements to existing infrastructure, integration by bringing the product to the industry level standards.
• Processes – You will be a part of the team having active communication with teams on the client (US/California, Canada, Australia) and Globallogic sides.
• Infrastructure – You will take an active part in the implementation, maintenance and enhancements of development environments, including bringing modern industry standards to the product
• Ownership and Support – You will be engaged in a variety of technical questions from other product teams, related to the functional behavior of our product, infrastructure and integration, and you will investigate and resolve problems they report and observe on different instances (including Production environments).
