Senior C/C++ Embedded Developer

Our Customer is a #1 US streaming platform and one of the biggest companies on the market of home entertainment consumer electronics devices that strives to provide their clients with high-quality products and services.

Requirements:

Mandatory:

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience
• Good experience working with Linux
• Excellent knowledge of C / C++
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented programming
• Experience with variety of methodologies including waterfall and agile ones
• Experience with different source control and task tracking systems (preferably Jira and Git)
• intermediate or better English written and verbal communication skills

Optional:

• 2+ years of embedded development experience
• Experience working with embedded systems, embedded Linux
• Experience with media and video streaming
• Experience with TV and/or STB firmware and middlware development

Preferences:

• Embedded, Embedded Linux, Linux Kernel, RTOS, C++-Linux

• Porting of Linux based TV OS to different platforms and customize it for different regions
• Develop and support of Linux based TV OS platform
• Participate in daily calls/standups with the team
• Mentor Junior team members
• Investigate new technologies
• Perform code reviews
