Lead Python Developer

Our Client is the leader of the US Broadcasting Market and one of the biggest companies on that is providing Broadcasting Media Entertainment to users on OTT platforms and web. Now when expansion to Europe is going full speed ahead, we are called to improve the voice recognition area by assisting in the complicated tools development. GlobalLogic team is expected to dive deeply into the needs and goals, set up ownership over the tools line up, and develop them further side by side with the customer who is located in UK!

Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of different architecture paradigms, like Microservices
• Hands-on experience in back-end development in Go and/or Python
• Experience in AWS
• Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
• Experience with projects involving integration of disparate types of technologies and platforms
• Deep understating of development processes
• Ability to work in experimental and startup-like environment, with very close customer collaboration
• Efficient communication skills, strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in building project documentation systems and development lifecycles
• Experience or knowledge in front end development (React) will be a plus
• Experience or knowledge in Machine Learning will be a plus
• Experience or knowledge in NLP will be a plus
• Experience in media domain projects will be a plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and design solution blueprints with high-level sequence/component diagrams
• Recommend requirements alignment basing on technical opportunities and limitations
• Work on software architecture design based on requirements
• Specify technical details basing on high level requirements
• Develop high level technical documentation
• Provide input on technical risks resolution
• Provide input on development processes
• Take part in the development of applications / components / prototypes
• Provide supervision and guidance to development teams, help in searching of solutions and resolving issues
