Our Client is the leader in live video technology for broadcast and new media productions. The Client solutions enable media companies and content creators to deliver the most gripping live sports images, buzzing entertainment shows and breaking news content to billions of viewers every day – and in real-time. The product under test is a new generation web-based asset/workflow management solution, with microservices platform to support more flexible media production workflows. The product enables users to edit and coordinate production assets from anywhere and with more efficiency. Users benefit from set of intuitive web app interfaces that empowers them to work remotely and collaboratively for faster turnaround of content, delivered to multiple platforms.
This team focuses on an integration with world leader in Video Editing, enabling advanced workflows for major customers. Ideal full-time candidate would have full-stack experience (Java + JS/React). If you opt to code Java only, part-time contribution might be the option.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Java services development
- Experience of work in Agile environment
- Strong self-organizational skills, proactivity and being able to work independently is a must
- Good English knowledge (reading, writing and speaking)
- Good communication & reporting skills
- Good analytical skills and attention to details
- Ability to take ownership over the quality
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
- Expertise in media industry (streaming, video editing, asset management, etc) is a plus
- Experience with JavaScript/React is a plus

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop Java services to integrate Client’s solution with leading video editing software
- Work closely with product owner and developers on requirements clarification
- Collaborate with UI developer to deliver joint results within Sprints
- Design, develop and implement quality software to enable media industry workflows
- Suggest solutions to identified user stories
- Achieve better customer satisfaction through implementing collaboration workflows
- Develop, review and update documentation as needed
- Actively participate in meetings with the customer and the team
- Prepare and present your work during Sprint reviews
