Middle Java Developer

Our customer is an American multinational technology company headquartered in San Jose, California, that designs, manufactures, and sells networking equipment. Customer is the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet that offers industry-leading products and solutions in the company’s core development areas of routing and switching, as well as in advanced technologies such as home networking, IP telephony, optical networking, security, storage area networking, and wireless technology. In addition to its products, the customer provides a broad range of service offerings, including technical support and advanced services.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Java, multi-threaded programming (Java 8, OpenJDK, Spring Boot 2)
• Experience with Postgres DB and Cassandra
• REST APIs Design & Development
• Cloud-native Development/Deployment in AWS
• Upper-intermediate spoken and writing English

Preferences:

• Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, SonarCube

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect Telemetry data from IoT Products, hosted both on-prem and the cloud for Smart city infrastructure.
• Publish key metrics to leadership around customer adoption & product feature usage.
• Drive Product roadmaps, Monitor customer adoption & renewals.
