Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience using JavaScript.
• Able to act quickly on your own initiative, to learn rapidly, and to collaborate openly with the rest of the team.
• Hands-on experience with front-end ReactJS framework or any other js-framework.
• Comfortable working in a fluid, ‘start-up’ environment where you play a key role in delivering strategic long-term goals as well short-term objectives.
• Accomplished at delivering user experiences which drive engagement and build marketplace trust.
• Experience in agile development methodologies and try quick / fast fail models.
• Able to plan and organize your time to suit a wide range of demands.
• Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.

GlobalLogic team is starting a completely new partnership and is now looking for a an experienced, energetic, creative and flexible Frontend Developer to join our team. Working within our rapidly growing Marketplace team, this is an opportunity to play a major contributing role to the evolution of our platform, and to work closely with the senior leadership of the Technical and Product team in the evolution of this core part of our business.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be an experienced developer, with experience building complex single page applications with Vanilla Javascript and modern frameworks (React is our first choice).
• Show us examples of applications that you created or were deeply involved in to demonstrate your abilities and showcase the value you could bring to our team in designing and building a high-quality commercial website.
• Have made many mistakes and learned many lessons along your career that you can share. Like us, you will be believe failure is the path to success, and you will be eager to put your skills to work but to learn new ways of doing things faster and more effectively.
• Be excited to work in a new and growing team, keen to use your own initiative to achieve our shared goals.

Key responsibilities

• Play an active role in delivery of our web-based application.
• Design and develop new features and components for our Marketplace.
• Contribute to our strong ‘team first’ culture where developers are encouraged and supported to meet their full potential.
• Share your experience and ideas with other developers (team of approx. 40).
