The Role:

As a Business Intelligence Architect, you will be responsible for the leadership and strategic innovation for Analytics Engine across complex IoT solution, introducing new technologies and platforms.

The Business Intelligence Architect utilizes various data extraction, data aggregation, and business intelligence tools, along with a broad understanding of multiple disciplines, to create rich data environments that can be used for advanced analytics and reporting. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and a passion for data infrastructure and analytics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or related field;

• 10+ years’ experience in business data warehouse and analytics/BI architectures, including the design and development across multiple technologies and analytical platforms.

• 5+ years of experience working directly in a data warehouse or data-lake environment, including cleaning and preparing data, querying and conducting exploratory analysis, and authoring optimized views and jobs for data democratization

• Deep experience with Redshift and/or Databricks is a must

• 5+ years’ experience in analytical development leveraging AWS analytic components end-to-end. Solid knowledge of AWS analytic services

• Solid knowledge in Data Quality

• Experience developing Power BI data models and reports.

• 3 + years of experience authoring complex data visualizations

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience using R and/or Python

• Experience with ETL, data modeling, data warehousing, and prototype creation from broad requirements

• Knowledge of statistical analysis methods

• Solid experience with pandas, numpy

• Experience with Qlik, Tableau or like platforms

• Understanding Data Science techniques, approaches and tooling

• Experience with ML

• Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner.

Preferences:

• Solid knowledge in Data Governance
• Experience with AI
• Experience working for IoT products
• Experience with scikit learn

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business owners to understand short- and long-term goals and author technical requirements to meet needs
• Design & build ingestion and staging of data from various disparate sources for Analytics Engine/platform in AWS
• Design lifecycle processes that support effective data provisioning capabilities to feed analytical requirements.
• Ensure that the analytics platform is highly accurate, available, performant and secure.
• Diagnose complex issues across the entire stack to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
• Apply data visualization techniques, resources, and libraries to business problems
• Define requirements and develop prototypes for data models
• Develop predictive analytic models to surface insights and facilitate proactive decision-making
