ML/DL Engineer

• Master or PhD in computer science, statistics, electrical engineering, operations research, mathematics or other quantitative majors
• 3+ years of experience with big platform such as Hadoop and Spark
• 3+ years of developing or applying machine learning algorithms and tools such as R, Python Scikit-learn, and/or Spark ML/MLlib, dlib, H2O, Mahout to solve business problems
• 3+ years of experience with Python; C/C++/java desirable in addition
• Experience with SQL query language
• Understanding + experience with building and supporting video/audio analysis pipelines
• Ability to understand existing analytical/ML pipeline, measure and decrease false positive/negative rates; analyze, propose and implement pipeline changes
• OpenCV
• Face detection, object tracking, shot detection
• ML model inference and training (audio and potentially image)
• Familiar with AWS and devops

Job Responsibilities:

An engineer in this position will design, develop, and architect services for the Deluxe One platform, in addition to:

• Contributing to cutting-edge R&D initiatives including service integration with emerging frameworks and platforms
• Assisting with technical resolution of issues on mission critical production systems (you build it, you own it, you run it)
• Thinking out of the box to come up with solutions that scale, are fault-tolerant, easy to grasp and elegant.
• The candidate will be required to work both independently and as part of a team developing cutting-edge machine learning algorithms, and deep learning algorithms on a big data platform.
