Our Client is the leader of the US Broadcasting Market and one of the biggest companies on that is providing Broadcasting Media Entertainment to users on OTT platforms and web
Project scope implies building Android, iOS, Android TV, Fire TV, Roku Brightscript application for millions of users that are watching, and have a subscription to client services.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of development experience with expertise in iOS(Swift)
- good knowledge of Networking (at least at Application layer)
- experienced with AVFoundation (AVPlayer) essentials
- multithreading
- experienced in debugging application concurrent processes
- experienced in AppStore certificates&provisioning
Preferences:
- DRM, ALGORITHMS, IPTV, Video / Stream processing
Job Responsibilities:
As a software engineer (iOS) you will:
- work in a team developing solutions with the main goal to provide best User Experience across iOS, iPadOS, AppleTV apps for IMDb 9+ rated show producer.
- collaborate with Engineering leaders, Product, and Server teams to design, develop, and create OTT media channels with rapid intermediate prototypes release.
- have a direct focus on quality code and improve our code base through continuous refactoring
- migrate existing codebase (Swift 4.2) to iOS/tvOS 13.
