The main goal of the project is to support Media Composer application in terms of adding new functionality and performance improvement. Media Composer is the most proven video editing software in the industry, trusted by professional editors in every segment of movie making, television, broadcast, and streaming media. Designed to handle high volumes of disparate file-based media, Media Composer delivers accelerated high-res and HD workflows, real-time collaboration, and powerful media management, eliminating time-consuming tasks so you can focus on telling a great story.

Requirements:

Required skills:

• Basic knowledge of testing theory (testing types, goals of testing, bug lifecycle, etc)
• MAC OS and Win OS knowledge (Administrative tools, OS imaging and management, networking, MS Office etc)
• Bug tracking tools experience
• Good spoken English
• Be a quick learner

Nice to have:

• Experience in Video Post Production/Broadcast domain
• Video Non-Linear Editing systems knowledge
• Basic usage experience
• Knowledge about media containers and formats
• Degree in computer science
• Python coding experience

Preferences:

• Video processing, Python

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing
• Run and maintain automation tests
• Submit defects
• Create test reports
• Set-up and configure systems for testing
• Daily communication with the distributed Scrum Team, Product owners, QAs and developers from other Scrum Teams
