Our client is a leading video technology provider. The products include content distribution and delivery, video processing, video security, and more. You will join a highly professional cloud object storage team that is responsible for smooth run of this essential part at the heart of video workflows.
Requirements
- Self-starter: able to identify task/problem and drive assignments to completion
- Network debugging skills
- Experience with kernel space programming (e.g. file system drivers)
- Distributed systems design skills
- 6+ years of programming in Linux (C/C++) and at least 3 years in kernel space (kernel modules, drivers)
- Experience with distributed storage is a big plus
- Experience with a cloud development is a plus
Job Responsibilities
You will work on persistent, highly available storage that supports cloud-native DVR workflows. The tasks will include maintenance, troubleshooting, design, performance tuning and optimization, new features implementation. It’s a high-load production system with all the ensuing consequences.
