Oracle Database Administrator at GlobalLogic (Atlanta, GA)

Job Description:

• Experience with Oracle 10 /12c, DBA, PL/SQL
• 8-10 years of experience in engineering with 6+ years as Oracle DBA
• Designing databases using Oracle Software and knowledge of SQL
• Testing database applications to ensure functionality
• Collaborating with other Oracle Dabs to implement structures
• Performing regular security updates to keep user data safe

Job Responsibilities:

• Upgrade Oracle 10 to 12c
• Maintain Oracle database servers
• Install and Upgrade Oracle and Corresponding Application Tools
• Create Database Storage Structures
• Alter Database Structures as Needed
• Set up Database User Accounts
• Debug Malfunctioning Programs
• Regularly Update Database Security
• Create Database Backups

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
